Servicing & Care
Vintage Patek • Quietly Extraordinary. Unequivocally Authentic. Respectfully Serviced.
ΛVΛTΛS • Refined Versatility. Precision Engineering. Masterful Craftsmanship.
Preservation
Preservation begins with care. Every timepiece we offer is an object of enduring precision, yet even the most reliable movement benefits from thoughtful stewardship. Whether vintage or newly created within our atelier, proper handling, maintenance, and storage ensure that each timepiece continues to perform as beautifully as the day it was crafted.
Our Servicing Philosophy
Our approach to servicing is guided by restraint and respect. We intervene only when necessary - prioritizing originality, mechanical integrity, and the preservation of aesthetic character. Each service is performed or supervised by trusted horological specialists who share our devotion to heritage finishing, period-correct parts, and traditional assembly standards.
Routine Maintenance and Intervals
Mechanical movements require periodic cleaning and lubrication to maintain accuracy. As a general principle, servicing is recommended every three to five years, or sooner if the timepiece exhibits irregular behavior. Quartz calibers should have their batteries replaced every two to three years, with gaskets inspected for moisture resistance at the same interval.
Handling and Storage
Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, magnetic fields, and chemical agents such as perfumes or cleaning solvents. When not worn, store your timepiece in a dry, padded environment away from direct sunlight. A soft microfiber cloth may be used for daily cleaning of the case and crystal.
Bracelets, Straps, and Fittings
Each timepiece is fitted with a strap or bracelet chosen to complement its design and function - crafted in calf, alligator, FKM rubber, silicone, or metal, according to family designation. Quick-release fittings allow effortless replacement without tools. Custom sizing may be arranged through our concierge service, and additional straps or bracelets are available upon request.
Servicing for Vintage Patek Philippe
Vintage examples are entrusted solely to workshops versed in Geneva manufacture standards. We refrain from over-polishing, dial retouching, or any procedure that could diminish originality. Replacement components, when necessary, are obtained from period-correct inventories or reproduced under archival supervision, with full disclosure to the client.
Servicing for ΛVΛTΛS Timepieces
These timepieces are serviced through workshops authorized and trained in contemporary horological standards. Each intervention adheres to the same philosophy of precision, restraint, and documentation that defines their manufacture. When replacement components are required, they are fitted to exact factory specifications and recorded within the timepiece’s service history, ensuring continuity, reliability, and full transparency.
Closing Reflection
Every timepiece entrusted to WRISTORIAN represents an intersection of artistry and engineering. Proper care is not an obligation but an act of respect - for craftsmanship, for history, and for the generations who will one day wind the same crown.
