Horological Organizations We Proudly Support

Stewardship Beyond Collecting

Horology does not preserve itself. Its history, scholarship, craftsmanship, and accumulated knowledge endure because individuals and institutions choose to study them, teach them, document them, and pass them forward.

At WRISTORIAN, we believe collecting carries a measure of stewardship. Appreciating an important timepiece also means supporting the organizations working to preserve the tradition from which it came.

AHS

Antiquarian
Horological
Society

Since 1953

Advancing Horological Scholarship

Serious collecting depends upon serious scholarship. The AHS encourages the study of the art and history of time measurement, supports original research, and promotes the preservation of historically important timepieces.

Its work reflects a principle fundamental to WRISTORIAN: the more thoroughly a timepiece is understood, the more responsibly it can be collected and preserved.

BHI

British
Horological
Institute

Since 1858

Preserving and Teaching the Craft

Horological history cannot be preserved through objects alone. It also depends upon the survival of the practical skills required to understand, maintain, repair, and conserve them.

The BHI’s educational mission closely aligns with WRISTORIAN’s belief that important timepieces deserve informed care, technical competence, and respectful intervention.

HSNY

Horological
Society
of New York

Since 1866

Making Horological Education Accessible

HSNY brings the study of watchmaking into direct contact with collectors, students, enthusiasts, and working professionals through hands-on instruction, lectures, traveling education, scholarships, and research.

Greater knowledge deepens appreciation and strengthens the responsibility that should accompany ownership of an important timepiece.

NAWCC

National Association of
Watch and Clock
Collectors

Since 1943

Preserving a Shared Horological Record

The NAWCC brings together collectors, researchers, craftspeople, and enthusiasts through a broad commitment to horological education and preservation.

Its work reminds us that private collecting forms part of a larger historical record, one strengthened when collections are studied, information is documented, and discoveries are shared.

Preserving What Matters

Supporting these organizations is a natural extension of the WRISTORIAN philosophy. The watches we collect are the beneficiaries of generations of accumulated knowledge, craftsmanship, scholarship, and care.

Preserving that inheritance requires supporting the people and institutions helping ensure that the history, understanding, and practical knowledge surrounding these timepieces survive as well.
