Service Overview
Welcome to WRISTORIAN®. The terms “WRISTORIAN,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to WRISTORIAN. We operate this website and store, including the information, content, features, products and services made available through it. Our commerce platform is provided by Shopify.
These Terms of Service, together with the policies referenced below, govern your access to and use of the website and any purchase from WRISTORIAN. They include important provisions concerning orders, payment, shipping, final sale, authenticity, disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By accessing or using the website, or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or our services.
Eligibility and Account Responsibility
By using this website, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and have legal authority to use the website and enter into transactions.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete contact, billing and delivery information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign or license your account to another person.
Products and Vintage Timepieces
WRISTORIAN specializes in vintage Patek Philippe and may also offer other fine timepieces accepted in trade or offered on behalf of clients, together with publications or other products expressly made available through the website.
Vintage timepieces are not new. They may display age, wear, patina, prior polishing, replacement components, service intervention or other characteristics consistent with their history. Each client is responsible for reviewing the complete listing, photographs, specifications, condition disclosures, accompaniments and any stated service history before purchasing. We make reasonable efforts to present each item faithfully. Color, scale, surface appearance and other visual details may vary with photography, lighting, device and display settings. Measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.
Product descriptions, scholarly conclusions, dating, component assessments and service-history statements reflect the information and evidence reasonably available to WRISTORIAN at the time of publication. A service history is included only when known or supported by information available to us. No service history should be inferred when none is stated.
Prices and Payment
All prices are firm and stated in U.S. dollars unless expressly indicated otherwise. Prices may change without notice before an order is accepted.
Payment is accepted by bank wire transfer only. Wire instructions are provided in connection with the order or invoice. An order will not be accepted or released for shipment until funds have cleared and are available to WRISTORIAN. Bank fees, intermediary-bank charges and currency-conversion costs are the client’s responsibility.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment must be initiated within three business days after the invoice is issued. If cleared funds are not received in a timely manner, WRISTORIAN may cancel the order and release the item for sale.
Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. WRISTORIAN may accept, decline or cancel an order in its discretion, including when an item is unavailable, information is inaccurate, payment cannot be verified or fraud is suspected. An automated acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance.
Many vintage timepieces are singular. Availability is not guaranteed until WRISTORIAN confirms acceptance and cleared funds have been received. We will use the contact information supplied with the order to communicate any material issue, change or cancellation.
We may request reasonable identity, payment or delivery verification before accepting or shipping an order. Purchases are for personal or household use unless WRISTORIAN expressly agrees otherwise in writing.
Shipping and Delivery
WRISTORIAN provides complimentary fully insured shipping within the United States. Insured international shipping is available to approved destinations and is quoted separately before purchase. All shipments are subject to our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Domestic shipments are ordinarily scheduled Tuesday through Friday, and we do not knowingly dispatch a timepiece to remain at a carrier facility over a weekend. Adult signature is required. Delivery must be made to the address approved by WRISTORIAN and the carrier.
Tracking information may be issued when a shipping label is created; this does not necessarily mean that the carrier has taken possession. Delivery dates and transit times are estimates and may be affected by payment verification, carrier operations, weather, customs, governmental action or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Final Sale, Claims and Remedies
All sales are final. WRISTORIAN does not accept returns or exchanges based on preference, fit, changed circumstances, buyer’s remorse or a decision that the client would prefer another item.
A client seeking review of a materially inaccurate description, a missing accompaniment expressly included in the listing, transit damage or evidence of package tampering must email WRISTORIAN within 24 hours after the carrier-recorded delivery time. The notice must describe the issue and include clear photographs and any other reasonably requested documentation.
The client must preserve the item, all packaging and all accompaniments in the condition received. The item must not be worn, opened, altered, sized, serviced or otherwise modified, and protective coverings and unworn straps must remain intact. No item may be returned without WRISTORIAN’s prior written authorization.
After review and, when applicable, inspection, WRISTORIAN will determine the appropriate remedy consistent with the circumstances. A remedy may include correction of the discrepancy, replacement when reasonably available, a partial refund or a full refund. A reported issue does not create an automatic right to return or refund. Unless WRISTORIAN agrees otherwise in writing, authorized return shipping and insurance costs are the client’s responsibility.

Authenticity and Mechanical Condition
WRISTORIAN offers a Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity. We stand behind the authenticity of every timepiece we offer and, should material facts establish otherwise, we will make it right, including return for refund consistent with our stated policy. An authenticity concern is governed by that lifetime commitment and is not limited by the 24-hour delivery-reporting period.
Except for the Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity and any other express written commitment made by WRISTORIAN for a particular item, no separate mechanical warranty or timekeeping guarantee is provided. Vintage watches may vary in accuracy, power reserve, water resistance and performance, and future service may be required. Any remaining manufacturer or third-party coverage varies by item and applies only when expressly stated.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
The client is responsible for applicable sales, use, import or value-added taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees and other governmental charges not expressly included in the purchase price. International clients are responsible for confirming local import requirements before purchase. WRISTORIAN declares accurate transaction values and provides documentation reasonably required for shipment.
Errors, Inaccuracies and Availability
The website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions involving descriptions, specifications, pricing, availability, shipping or other information. WRISTORIAN may correct or update information and may decline or cancel an affected order before acceptance. If an accepted order cannot be fulfilled because of our error, we will refund the amount paid for that order.
We may modify or discontinue website content, products or services without notice, subject to obligations arising from an order already accepted.
Intellectual Property
All trademarks, trade names, text, research, photographs, graphics, video, audio, design elements and other website content are owned by WRISTORIAN, its affiliates or licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. The website and its content may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless WRISTORIAN provides prior written authorization. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Third-Party Services and Links
Third-party tools, services and links may be made available for convenience. They are provided “as is” and “as available,” without endorsement or control by WRISTORIAN. Your use of them is at your own risk and may be subject to separate third-party terms and privacy practices. WRISTORIAN is not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies or conduct.
Relationship with Shopify
Shopify provides the commerce infrastructure used to operate this website. Purchases are made directly from WRISTORIAN, not Shopify. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shopify is not responsible for transactions between WRISTORIAN and its clients, and you release Shopify and its affiliates from claims arising solely from those transactions.
Privacy
Personal information collected through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers as necessary to operate the website, process orders, prevent fraud and provide services.
Feedback and Submitted Content
If you voluntarily submit ideas, suggestions, reviews, photographs or other content, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate law or the rights of another person. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you grant WRISTORIAN a worldwide, perpetual, sublicensable and royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and display that content in connection with our business.
Prohibited Uses
You may not use the website or services to violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass or harm others, submit false or misleading information, transmit malware or unsolicited communications, collect personal information without authority, scrape or crawl the website without written permission, interfere with website operation or circumvent security measures. We may suspend or terminate access for prohibited conduct.
Termination
WRISTORIAN may suspend or terminate access to the website or services for a violation of these Terms or when reasonably necessary to protect WRISTORIAN, its clients, service providers or the website. Obligations and liabilities incurred before termination remain enforceable. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, severability and governing law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Except for the Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity and any other express written commitment made by WRISTORIAN, the website, services and products are provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. WRISTORIAN disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability and non-infringement, except where a disclaimer is prohibited by law.
We do not warrant that access to the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that every website error will be corrected.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WRISTORIAN and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, service providers and licensors, together with Shopify and its affiliates where applicable, will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, savings, data or replacement costs, arising from or related to use of the website, services or products.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excludes a remedy expressly provided by WRISTORIAN’s Lifetime Guarantee of Authenticity or the policies incorporated into these Terms.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless WRISTORIAN, Shopify and their respective affiliates, officers, employees, agents, contractors, service providers and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your material breach of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of another person’s rights or misuse of the website or services.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver and Entire Agreement
A failure by WRISTORIAN to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right. These Terms, together with the policies and any item-specific written terms referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement concerning use of the website and purchases from WRISTORIAN and supersede prior understandings on those subjects.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without WRISTORIAN’s prior written consent. WRISTORIAN may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, reorganization, sale of assets or other lawful business transfer.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any transaction with WRISTORIAN are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive jurisdiction and venue will lie in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida, and you and WRISTORIAN consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
Changes to These Terms
WRISTORIAN may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on this page. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Material changes will be communicated when required by law. Continued use of the website after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of those revisions.
